Curatorial Scripts operates at the intersection of concept writing, para-curatorial practice, and editorial precision. It treats curating not as a sequence of events, but as a script: a written structure capable of staging works, atmospheres, and relations.
Each script emerges from site and circumstance — a room, a ruin, a conversation — and moves between formats: text, image, sound, object. In place of the didactic or explanatory, these scripts cultivate the in-distinct: a poetics of framing that holds ambiguity without collapse.
The platform is both a workshop and a display — producing lexicons, exhibition architectures, and printed matter that can be deployed in galleries, books, or public space. Its projects have ranged from atmospheric interventions in institutional contexts to minimal gestures embedded in the city’s texture.
Curatorial Scripts is open to working with artists, curators, and institutions to find the right language and structure for their projects — from subtle exhibition framings to extended conceptual architectures.
From the poetics shaped in Distinct Inside, Pawel Jankiewicz and Michael Hazell work as Curatorial Scripts — pursuing written, visual, and spatial articulations that hold art without closing it.
